How is it the week before Thanksgiving already, folks? Seriously, this is crazy! I think with the election, Veterans Day, and Thanksgiving hitting early this year, everything turkey has been getting a little smooshed. Well, with only four days next week I am really going for it. We started in on the “thankful ditties” last week and I will be servin’ up heaping plates of pilgrims, turkeys, and more throughout the week. Here’s a little look at where we’ve been and where we are headed…
My kids were letting off random yelps throughout this project. The excitement was contagious and the work was wonderful. Don’t worry . . . I made a much cuter template for you all to use π |
First things first, lets start things off right today with a little freebie. Have y’all ever heard of the book, “Who Will Carve the Turkey This Thanksgiving?” by Jerry Pallotta? It is a magical one. I giggle my way through the whole thing and then tear up at the end . . . it never fails. The kids totally dig it too and it lends itself to the best writing activity.
This pack has this amazing craft and so many other wonderful things! CLICK HERE to read more about it! |
Recognize this cutie . . . oh yeah . . . It’s Michelle Griffo from Apples and ABC’s. We just so happened to be in Berkeley at the same time. What a treat!! Check out her bloggy-blog. It’s an absolute gem! |
For all you Ducks fans, you know what I mean when I say this is my very best “O-Face!” |
Don’t tell . . . I ate a gluten filled hot dog. Yes, I paid for it, but it was oh SO good going down π |

Thanks Heather . . . you made my night. I do have construction paper, but I have to buy it out of a very small buy-out account or my own pocket. I get a little stingy from time to time π Oh, and I sent you the email the other day . . . did you get it??
