First and foremost, I want to give a huge shout out to all of you sweet followers out there.  You truly make the “world go around” for me.  I love what I do in the classroom, but having the opportunity to write about my crazy teaching adventures and share them with oodles of wonderful educators just “fills my heart.”  I know it sounds dippy, but it’s so true.  Also, so many of you have become more than just “co-workers” to little old me.  In 6 short months, I have made numerous life-long friends in the bloggy world. Oh, look at me.  Now I am getting all sappy on all you alls. I had better stop my “open heart” from gushing all over the place and get down to biz-ness.

    Congrats on hitting 1,000 so soon! That is truly the sign of an amazing blogger. Your blog (and one other) are the only blogs I subscribe to by email and I am always so excited to see when you have a new post up. I don't always get to comment but I always get to read your posts. Love 'em!
