LOVE IS IN THE AIR . . . A GIVEAWAY FOR TEACHERS WHO SWOON OVER TECH

February 8, 2015 by teacherideafactory

It has been ages since I have been in on a BIG giveaway.  Well, that all ends today!  I have officially joined forces with KinderCraze and a handful of other wonderful women to bring you a very special giveaway.  The goal was to create an event that made Valentine’s Day extra special for our followers.  So, here we be . . . and just wait until you see what we have in store for you ๐Ÿ™‚

Love Is In The Air has two amazing parts.  First, each individual blogger has a fun little “techy” prize up for grabs.  I’m talking everything from iTunes gift cards to doc cameras.  (I’ll tell you all about mine in a moment!!)  You can hop between us and enter yourself for each one of these.  Second, there is a GRAND PRIZE being offered as well.  We each chipped in to award one very lucky winner an iPad Air.  Enter the Rafflecopter for this prize on any of our blogs! I told you this was an EPIC giveaway ๐Ÿ™‚

I am dying to tell you what I selected to give away.  Well, after much brain searching, I settled on a killer cool bluetooth ultra-portable speaker. I read countless reviews and watched a handful of videos to ensure I wasn’t picking a dud. Well, this particular speaker is the highest rated for the its class . . . they say it has amazing sound and can fill the room.

I use a portable speaker in my classroom and it is so helpful.  You don’t have to plug your phone into anything, which means you can take pictures of your crew without interrupting the tunes. You also don’t have to run across the room to control the music flow – the power is right in your hand!  Just think about how great this would be.  Music in YOUR classroom will never be the same ๐Ÿ™‚

On that note, why don’t you get yo-self entered for both giveaways??  I made the process pretty straight forward for you.  Just fill out the two Rafflecopter forms below!  Good luck my friends.  We will be back on 2/15 with all of our big winners ๐Ÿ™‚

I am currently using this rubber horn thing to attach to my phone to play the clean up song during all 5 rotations. The kids can never hear it so I have to walk around the room instead of setting up for the next group at the teacher table. I think I really need this!

I've been looking for a speaker because the one on my laptop is horrible! I have a hearing impaired student who can't hear when I play a video because of my poor speakers (the rest of the kids struggle too). This would be perfect!

    February 10, 2015 at 3:56 am

I teach ESL students grade 3-6. Around Thanksgiving break, our in-class sound system broke. This has put quite a damper on class activities and has strongly impacted the learning of my auditory learners.
If I won the portable speaker, I could restart my audio book read along club, along with playing English pop songs for my students!

  60. Tina Boley says

    February 10, 2015 at 4:32 am

I would use it to enhance our sound. Lots of times I show videos on the whiteboard, and the kiddos can't really hear the sound very well. This would be wonderful!
