GRAPHIC GREATNESS

November 17, 2012 by teacherideafactory

I don’t know about you, but my Turkey Break is finally here and I am so stinkin’ excited!! Sure, resting up and not having to get up at 5 am is reason enough to do the boggie dance, but I really can’t wait for uninterrupted time to get to gettin’ on some packets and freebies.  Yes, my bum will be planted at the computer for hours on end each and every day . . .  I cannot wait!  Any of you bloggers or teachers out there in the same boat??  Well, if you are you will want to keep on reading as I am going to showcase some of my new favorite places to snag exceptional graphics and fonts!

First up tonight, I want to chat about fonts.  I obsess about various types . . . I may even dream about them from time to time.  Granted we all have our faves, but it’s fun to switch things up now and again.  Well, I have found a delightful blog that has the cutest FREE fonts up for grabs.  I am sure that this lovely lady is well on your radar, but maybe you missed the font piece.  So, just in case . . . here you be!

The always fantastic Nicole from Rowdy in Room 300 has created some free fonts that will make any creator’s head spin.  Here are a few of my faves!

Interested in adding these (and other) awesome ditties to your collection??  Pop on over to Nicole’s Blog to hook your font folder up!  Just click on her button below!  Be sure to let her know I sent ya!

On the graphics front I have two lovely ladies to introduce you to (just in case you hadn’t met them yet).

Tessa from Tales from Outside the Classroom is a doll and has started to create digital backgrounds, frames, and borders.  If you are like me, you are always looking for new cute things to spice up your covers and games.  Well, Tessa has the answer to many of our needs on the graphic front!

Interested in looking into Tessa’s rockin’ graphics a bit more?  Click here to read up on her latest blog post in regards to her digital treats!

Finally, have you heard of Ashley Hughes yet?  Uh, she is the mastermind behind the School Supply Addict and is brilliant I tell ya.  I wish I had even an ounce of the creativity she has in the graphics department 🙂  If you have checked out any of my packets lately, you will see that Ashley has been one of my go to girls.  Her graphics are cute, spot on, and just my style. I used her amazing art in my last two packets  . . . and plan to keep on using her!

Take a moment to check out all that The School Supply Addict had to offer, you will be so glad that you did.  My heart stopped when I discovered Ashley . . . I hope yours skips a beat too!
Alright folks, I am off to put my feet up for a minute.  Going to call it a night soon so I can have a fresh start with my new packet tomorrow.  Thanks so much for taking the time to visit.  I’ll see you all VERY soon.
