I can’t believe it . . . I got this Good Morning Work pack out well before the end of the month. Hip Hip HOORAY for Turkey Break. My mind was clear, I took two naps, and was able to sit down for some uninterrupted time in front of the screen ๐ We won’t talk about how the Ducks devastating loss to the silly old “trees” darn near foiled my progress . . . but, I digress.

This month’s math packet covers a little bit of everything. Skills include: addition, subtraction, introduction to fact families, solving word problems, writing word problems, skip counting, place value, comparing/ordering numbers, odd + even, graphing, months of the year, days of the week, date writing, and more. Yup . . . all those key common core math standards for firsties are targeted ๐
As always, I am all about “try ’em before you buy ’em.” So, here are three pages you can take with you to try out with your kiddos. If you like what you see unfold in your classroom, pop on over to my TPT Shop and pick up the whole GMW Math Pack! My Good Morning Reading Pack for December will be available soon . . . just need a few more days on this one.

Alright folks, I am off to start my next pack and catch up on a little laundry (blah . . . I could be in the Guinness Book for the number of times I “fluff” each load . . . laundry is the WORST). I will see you soon my friends! Thanks for visiting.

I really love this, but our school limits the numbers of copies we make to only 1500 a month. Unfortunately, I have to watch the papers I print ๐ It's on my wish list anyway ๐

Sarah,
We don't have a particular number of copies, BUT they are watching our copies closely and question things they don't think we need to copy…That being said, I have purchased the Good Morning work and use it on the overhead as sort of morning meeting during reading and math. That way I only print 1 copy:)

I hear ya . . . we have a copy count too. It really forces your hand to make some tough choices on the material front. However, I run my sets through my printer instead (shhhh . . . don't tell)!
teacherideafactory says
Tammy . . . great idea!

Holy moly do I love me your GMW packs!!! Teaching a 1/2 combo now so while it's great skill building for my firsties it's also excellent practice & review for my second graders at their perfect independent level. And I agree with Tessa, your covers are always the cutest!!
