CURRENTLY + PEN PALS + MUST HAVES

August 5, 2012 by teacherideafactory

Let’s start with Currently today.  I am a little late, but aren’t I always??!! Farley’s linky always makes me smile and I always look forward to the fun little reflection that goes with this post.  So, here you be . . .

I think these are all self explanatory, but as for the class comment, I can provide a little more insight.  I have seven siblings this year (i.e. I had an older brother or sister in previous years).  It’s so exciting to know a third of your class and their families before ya even start.  I even already know of three mother helpers . . . really good mother helpers . . . YAY!!
Good old Room 13 will be filled with these kiddos starting on August 20th!  As I am sure everyone and their uncle is feeling . . . there is still so much to do However, all I have to say is BRING IT πŸ™‚
I would love to see what you are up to “Currently.”  So, go hook up with Farley. You’ll be glad you did πŸ™‚
On to pen pals (are you sick of hearing about this yet)?  With more than 220 teachers signed up for me to match them, I have my work cut out for me. However, I would love for more educators to jump on in.  Simply click on the button below to read more about The Perfect Pen Pal Pair Up and how to take advantage of me finding that classroom connection for you!  This event closes on 08/12 . . . so don’t wait too long to decide if this is something you want in on this year!
If you already signed up for the Pair Up and you were one of the first 150, you will be receiving an email from me this next week with your match.  I am not going to wait until the deadline to make all of the matches.  I know you all are eager to get going, so I won’t sit on it!
Finally today, you have to check out these Back to School ditties that I am super excited about.
What are you looking at do you ask?  Uh, four packets I cannot wait to use! We’re talking Mel D’s Reward Coupons, Katie King’s Classroom Decor, Susan Moran’s Ice Cream Social Pack, and Jessica Stanford’s Behavior Clothespin Chart.  And, there are at least a dozen more that are sitting in my purchased file on TPT that I still need to print out.  See why I said I need lots of colored printer ink and more laminating sheets??
Alright, I am outta here folks.  I need to start matchin’ people up!  Thanks for taking the time to swing by today.  I’ll see you tomorrow for Move It Mondays!

Kelley…..you need to buy them from amazon…I got 100 of the 3mm pockets for 9.97, and the 5mm for 19.97…the 5mm are great..you can print on regular paper (which is easier on my printer!) and it feels like cardstock with the 5mm laminating pockets! I went through my first box…waiting for my next shipment due here Wednesday!

Sigh. I want a laminator!!!! Actually, right now, I'd settle for a good color printer. I don't even have one of those! The printer I have doesn't even work really well with Windows 7….so that's interesting! Wahhhhhh!

You've got such neat stuff going on! I hope the pen pal thing goes wonderfully!
