Before we get too far away from the first, I wanted to jump on the beloved Currently train. The fantastic Farley from Oh Boy 4th Grade always has me cracking up. And, thanks to her rockin’ linky idea, the first ain’t just all about payday anymore ๐
Mmmm . . . what needs explaining? Not too much on this one. Other than we are still scrambling to make plans for the 4th. The whole mid-week thing is killing the vibe for our circle of friends. We are hoping to snag a couple or two to do a little river floatin’, but it’s up in the air at this point.
As for the “reads” section, my all-time favorite read aloud is Dog Breath by Dav Pilkey. I heart me a silly-as-all-get-out story. Carpet time giggles are my favorite ๐ The other selection is my go-to professional book – Rick Morris’ New Management Handbook. This guy is filled with great ideas and the whole “student number” system he composed has saved me so much time in the classroom over the years.
So, there you be folks, my current “Currently” in all of it’s glory. Hop on over to Farley’s page and join in the fun. Just click on her button below to get all of the “deets.”
One final think this late night (or early morning depending on your place on the map). I have a big winner in my FIVE-OH-OH MEGA GIVEAWAY. Congratulations to Heather Flickinger. Rafflecopter landed on your sweet name tonight. I shot you an email outlining all the good stuff that is coming your way. Thank you again to all of you who entered and to all of my wonderful followers out there! You are the BEST ๐
Speaking of contests, my bloggy buddy Jessica is having an amazing one right now over at Mrs. Stanford’s Class. We’re talkin’ zillions of prizes and multiple winners. Yes, that’s right folks . . . more than one winner. Click the button below to enter!!
Well, I better hustle my bum into bed. It’s getting so late and my eyeballs are starting to burn. That’s my body’s little way of telling me to kill the electronics for today. I’ll see you in the am my friends.

If it makes you feel any better I don't have any solid 4th plans either. Besides watching all of the crazies here on the beach with their explosives ๐
Loving the looks of the Dog Breathe book-I will have to check it out!

I LOVE that book Dog Breathe. I have read it over, and over with my kids. Then brought it to school and my students kept asking to read it again and again! Super cute! Also try 'I Ain't Gonna Paint No More!' by Karen Beaumont and illustrated by David Catrow. Great for rhyming.
