FIVE FOR FRIDAY – FACTORY STYLE

February 16, 2014 by teacherideafactory

Okay, so if you follow me you know that I have been out on surgery leave. BLARG!  It has been 3.5 very long weeks since I have been in the classroom and I have missed out on WAY too many Five For Fridays.  With this said, I am jumping in on the action.  I love to picture dump and highlight all of the silly adventures I had with my crew.  However, I don’t have any of my own material. Therefore, I’m leaning on a bunch of my lovely friends to help me out a bit. With this disclaimer aside, I bring you my Friday spew from a different angle . . .

ONE – MINI READER FUN
My teaching bestie sent me this picture of her babes hard at work with my Winter Games Mini Books.  She said they really enjoyed them and talked me into doing a President/U.S. Symbols set too.  I love seeing my goods being used by other crews.  It’s what keeps me going.  Thanks Court!

TWO – DEAR MR. PRESIDENT
Another buddy of mine . . . sweeter than sweet Ashley over at The Teacher’s Treasure Chest . . . helped me out too.  She sent me a picture of some completed Lincoln writes that her babes rocked this week.  The cool thing is that Ashley ran with my Mr. Lincoln is “Tops” writing craft template.  Again . . . I smiled all over when I saw these.  Thanks for making my day Ashley ๐Ÿ™‚

THREE – SOCAL BLOG HOP
If you haven’t seen this already, you really must jump in on the action.  A bunch of us Cali Teachers + the one and only Deanna Jump are hosting a blog hop in honor of our upcoming teacher conference gig.  Be sure to check this one out – so many wonderful free goods.  AND . . . you can enter to win a ticket to the SoCal TK/K/1st Grade Conference.  It’s gonna be a doozie!!  A HUGE thank you to the amazing Tammy over at Fluttering Through 1st.  I am fairly tech savvy, but not so much when it comes to FB hops it seems. (I quickly discovered a gaping “hole” in my knowledge last night!)  Well, the amazing Tammy saved my bacon not only once, but TWO TIMES.  Thanks girl . . . I owe ya big time ๐Ÿ™‚

FOUR – STORY SONGS
I paired up with one of my all time best friends this week to bring you a very special new series of products.  Ron Brown from Intelli-Tunes and I launched our first Story Songs collection.  These mini packets are built around one of his original standards-based songs!  Each packet includes an MP3, lyric ideas, crafts, wearable work, and a handful of follow up activities.  Check back later this week for a full run down on this fun product (I am trying to get the second set done first so you can really see what I’m talkin’ ’bout).

This packet was built around his Five Little Bugs song and it targets addition to 5.  It’s perfect for your Pre-K and K kiddos!  Multiple templates are included to target different academic and classroom needs!  CLICK HERE to take a closer look at this “out of the box” collection.

FIVE – BIG ‘OL WINNER
Before I jet, this has to make it into my TOP 5 this week.  I got a little Valentine’s treat from my parents.  It started off as a sweet card stuffed with a little cheap entertainment.  However, it ended in a shopping spree on Rue-La-La ๐Ÿ™‚  Uh . . . Corso Como shoes were on deep discount and I’m rich!

Alright friends . . . I am outie.  As you can see, I had oodles of help from some wonderful friends this week.  So glad I got a little Doodle Linky fix ๐Ÿ™‚ Thanks so much for taking the time to visit.  I’ll be back soon with something new and exciting!!!  Enjoy your long weekend.

I can't wait for the story songs, at the peek- k level I will just admire from afar. If you add in some 2nd grade level I will have to pick them up. We love to learn with music!
